We are constantly on the lookout to add dynamic testconsultantsto our Service Delivery teams located in Pune, India.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing new test cases for the new functionality
• Executing smoke, regression and system testing
• Developing and executingvalidation scripts
• Testing new features and bug fixes on staging environment after each code release
• Updating test cases repository

 

Skillsets:

• Knowledge of test design techniques and principles
• Good knowledge of software development and testing life cycle
• Good knowledge of test management and defect tracking tool
• Good knowledge MS Office and related applications
• Software development skills (good to have)
• Effective in communicating (written and oral) at different levels
• Good analytical and problem skills to develop test cases

 

Experience level: 6- 12 months of software testing experience

 

Education & Qualification: Bachelor's degree

Key Responsibilities:

• 3-5 Years of experience in testing applications( good to haveBanking, Financial Services domain)
• Ability to grasp product knowledge and requirements fast to effective test cases
• Experience in  designing and executing test cases and scenarios of new products and product upgrades
• Experience in reviewing test cases and identifying coverage gaps
• Performing various types of software testing that include smoke, regression, integration, system, functional, user interface
• Strong ability to identify, analyse and document defects, questionable functionality, errors and inconsistencies
• Experience of working with test management and defect tracking tools
• Good in documenting test plan, test scenario and various other test artifacts
• Comfortable in executing  and maintaining automated test scripts
• Track testing metrics and reporting
• Support continuous improvements in QA process and effectiveness
• Assist in training and/or mentoring peers

 

Skillsets:

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills to design and review test cases/test plan  (Banking domain preferred)
• Basic knowledge of scripting
• QA certification (good to have especially ISTQB/ CSTE)
• Basic Knowledge of CMMi  processes
• Ability to manage test environments and test data requirements
• Ability to estimate, plan and schedule testing activities
• Prior exposure to testing banking and financial applications (good to have)
• Project management and team management skills
• Good at SQL, XML, Web Services technologies
• Working knowledge of test management tools like Quality Canter
• Working knowledge of MS Office (advanced knowledge good to have)
• Proactive, independent self-starter and positive attitude

 

Experience level: 3-5 years of testing experience
